The RPO Operating System

Rear Piston Operated is the new gas system Benelli built for the M2-G1. Gas is collected close to the chamber by two short-stroke pistons, and the recoil assembly lives in the stock where carbon and debris cannot reach it. No. The FDE Cerakote covers the receiver and barrel. The stock, pistol grip, and forend are black synthetic from the factory, a two-tone configuration.
